Christmas Carolling with a Twist

Last night Pakenham Corps were out carolling at the local shopping centre. (Nothing new here)

Our band, howerver, was a recorder band from one of the neighbouring corps. It was lovely to hear the carols played by recorders of every size. As the sweet sound of recorder carols played we had good opportunity to share the story of God's amazing love with a hurting world, throught the birth of His son Jesus.

Here is a pic of the band. Sorry for the graininess of the pic, it was taken on a phone.

Pslams 81:1 Sing for joy to God our strength; shout aloud to the God of Jacob!2 Begin the music, strike the tambourine, play the melodious harp and lyre.3 Sound the ram's horn(or recorder) at the New Moon, and when the moon is full, on the day of our Feast. (NIV)
