Spiritual warfare vid

ive just saw this fantastic vid

hope you enjoy it

The early fighting spirit of the Army is inspirational to me. At christmas time there are many people who will be enticed to believe the prevelant world view. This speaks of having and getting for yourself. It puts "me" first and everyone else last. These are not values in God's Kingdom

The early Army were fully committed to the idea of self sacrifice for the sake of the lost and the gospel. This world view sees the value of all people, because they are made in the image of God.

Lets be God People
Doing God's things
In God's way
In God's time.

This Christmas lets be Kingdom people .

Christmas Carolling with a Twist

Last night Pakenham Corps were out carolling at the local shopping centre. (Nothing new here)

Our band, howerver, was a recorder band from one of the neighbouring corps. It was lovely to hear the carols played by recorders of every size. As the sweet sound of recorder carols played we had good opportunity to share the story of God's amazing love with a hurting world, throught the birth of His son Jesus.

Here is a pic of the band. Sorry for the graininess of the pic, it was taken on a phone.

Pslams 81:1 Sing for joy to God our strength; shout aloud to the God of Jacob!2 Begin the music, strike the tambourine, play the melodious harp and lyre.3 Sound the ram's horn(or recorder) at the New Moon, and when the moon is full, on the day of our Feast. (NIV)

Unwrap Jesus - God's Gift for you

Luke 1:30 - 33
"Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. 31You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. 32He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end."

There is more to jesus than the baby at Christmas.
Unwrap God's Gift to you and find a life worth living... Go on I dare you!

Behold the Lamb Of God
He walked on earth showing glimpses of heaven
Demons, death, disease had no hand
The wind and the waves were obdedient before Him
Well may they say who is this man?

Shalom

Today I had a fantastic day. I am on holidays right now, and I spent a relaxing day with Cath & Spence. Cath & I had breakfast together (a real luxury). A little later in the day saw Spence and I paddling in our pool. It is a small seashell wadding pool, but is was such fun just splashing around and staying cool. Having this little boy in my life keeps me focused on 2 things. 1. How special he ismand how much a gift he is & 2. How much God loves each one of us as he is our father.

(ok I know that's 3 things but hey life's like that)

Here are some pics from the day.

Doesnt Cath look beautiful?

P.S. The "new" me is now bearedless
